LaFontaine Kia Recall Department
What is a Recall?
A recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle, equipment, car seat, or tire creates an unreasonable safety risk or fails to meet minimum safety standards. Manufacturers are required to fix the problem by repairing it, replacing it, offering a refund, or in rare cases repurchasing the vehicle. To discover if your vehicle has been recalled all you need is your VIN.
What Does a Recall Mean to You?
What a recall can mean varies depending on what is being recalled. A recalled part could be damaging to your vehicle or present a risk to you and your passengers. If you notice you own a recalled vehicle or a part inside your vehicle has been recalled you should take it into a LaFontaine dealership as soon as possible.
Getting a recall repaired presents no cost to you, all repair costs and labor expenses are covered by the manufacturer that issued the recall. Your only cost is your time, which we know is valuable. That is why we want to make your experience a stress free one.
